There is nothing that warms my heart like putting on a new pair of socks. Growing up, before the start of every school year my dad would give us a little money, and we would buy new socks of our choosing. Wearing those socks gave me the confidence to make it through my extremely awkward years of childhood.I have now roped Jared into this tradition and we now both own a package of new socks. I just put on a pair of my new socks and my toes could not be any happier.
The downer to this excitement is that school starts today. My job is only a 9-month job, so I have the summers practically free to live my wild life. With the Fall semester upon us gone are the carefree days of the summer, gone are the endless days of actually spending tons of time with Jared, and gone are the hours of
baking pies. Hello early morning sunrises, hello 40 hour work weeks and hello late night study sessions. I am ready. Bring it on!
