Skylar Bob & Elizabeth

This morning I awoke early and couldn't get back to sleep. Lucky for me Jared had to be a work at 5:30 this morning, so I didn't lose too much sleep. While I was sitting on our couch annoyed at my current situation I started to look at some pictures. The memories pictures bring is always an interesting road to travel.

Back in the day I used to have two mannequins, Skylar Bob and Elizabeth. I got them in from a friend when I lived in Provo, UT. They traveled with me to about 8 different apartments, two states, spent a year or two in storage, and finally were given up after I got married 9 years later. I never thought I would miss them, but today I did. I miss dressing them up in holiday outfits, annoying my old roommates with the crazy clothes, putting them in random places to scare people, but mostly having two extremely odd pieces of decoration. Hope they are doing well wherever they are.

  1. That is hillarous! There was this lady that lived down the street and around the corner from Marie, when she lived in Pennsylvania that had 2 plaster geese out at the end of her drive way. She would make clothes and dress the geese for any occasion. Rainy day? No problemo, rain coat. Valentine day? Red hearts and polka dots. That is one of the things I miss most about Pennsylvania.
