If I were a home builder

Lately in Flagstaff it has gotten really chilly. As I sit in my apartment covered in a blanket and sipping some hot chocolate I am filled with a various array of thoughts. My first thought is that I wish it weren't 30 degrees at night in the beginning of October. The second thought is that I wish it weren't 45 degrees in my apartment. My third thought one of curiosity if the builders of our apartment forgot to put in insulation in the walls. (It should not be so cold inside. We are trying not to turn on the heater for a couple more weeks.) I am trying to think of a third profound thought but my brain is having trouble working in almost sub zero temperatures. It is going to be a long winter.

P.S. Above is a picture of what insulation should look like. I only wish those who built my apartment had known what it was for. If I were a home builder I would have put extra within the walls.
