Finals mixed with a little Blue Bell

This week is finals week for Jared and I. Between work, school, pies and trying to balance a healthy relationship we have had an extremely busy semester. In the craziness of everything we both managed to do well in our classes. This has not been an easy accomplishment. We have had to find a release. Some good friends of our unknowingly introduced us to this much needed release. Our salvation this semester has been Blue Bell ice cream. For those of you who have eaten Blue Bell you know what a higher quality of ice cream and that is still sold in half gallon containers. I tease Jared that we have become ice cream snobs. He thinks this title is very appropriate. Why eat something of lesser quality when you can eat Blue Bell. It has been our salvation. In case you would like to be converted to the outstanding taste of Blue Bell visit their website and watch their videos. They will convert you like they have us. Some of their flavors include: Butter Crunch, Candy Jar, Carmel Turtle Fudge, Cherry Vanilla, Fruit Special, Groom's Cake, Peaches and Homemade Vanilla, Southern Blackberry Cobbler and White Chocolate Almond. As well as captivating you Blue Bell can cure any aliment that you are inflicted with. Blue Bell single handedly is responsible for helping us survive the last four months. Thank you Blue Bell.

  1. I am glad to hear that you both did good in school. I like the Blue Bell ice cream plug you have in here. If only I liked ice cream I would give it a try. Maybe on a really hot day I will try it:)

  2. Isn't Blue Bell AMAZING??? I recall having a similar conversation not that long ago with my darling husband and I called us ice cream snobs... Usually I'm a more-mix-ins-the-merrier kind of person, but when it comes to Blue Bell, Homemade Vanilla or Dutch Chocolate make me swoon. It's made not that far from where we live, so it's a big deal out here. Do you have the little containers, they are 3 oz. size and come in packages of 10 I think. What a yummy treat!

I must say, being so big on Blue Bell and them having such a limited variety (at least at our stores) of low fat ice creams, we bought a super nice ice cream maker last year (no more rock salt for us!) and have tried our hand at "gourmet" ice cream on our own. We've lowered the fat contents, and sugar contents and sill come up with some divine creations. Thus, ice cream before bed is a nearly every night occurrance. We extend the invite for you to come over for an ice cream party any time!!
