Snow Day (11 days ago)

This semester is starting to fly by. This rapid transition of time does not give me much time to update my blog. Approximately 11 days ago it snowed here in Flagstaff. We got about 4-5 feet of snow within couple days. It was absolutely gorgeous. It was considered blizzard conditions, but I didn't care. This was the most snow we got in a week since 1960.  School was actually canceled for two days. I loved being able to stay home, drink hot chocolate and get paid. Full-time benefits are outstanding.
One day Jared and I were able to play in the snow. Jared started building a snow cave until it collapsed. I watched him dig it. We also threw a lot of snowballs and trampled around in every direction. As we played in the snow building our snow structures a couple of guys walked by. They made comments saying that we looked liked gerbils. Another couple of guys stated that we looked like hamsters. I had no idea those types of rodents liked to play in the snow or  make snow angels. Apparently I have a lot to learn. Overall, I love snow days. I wish everyday could be a snow day. I can gladly live off of hot chocolate and chili.

  2. We just had a huge snow storm up here, too, that lasted 3 days! Probably not as much snow as you, but I was definitely feeling cozy in our apartment. It sounds like you made the most of the snow. We all need to do more of that this time of year.
